Who We Are
The American Indian Cancer Foundation is a national foundation committed to eliminating cancer burdens on American Indian and Alaska Native people through improved access to prevention, early detection, treatment and survivor support.
Our mission is Healing with Culture, Reclaiming Indigenous Health.
Through hard work, culturally appropriate community-based programs and policy change that affords Native people access to the best prevention and treatment strategies, we see a day where American Indian communities are free of the burdens of cancer.

Make a difference
Help us educate tribal youth on Indigenous traditions, and help them reject commercial tobacco like cigarettes.
The more Indigenous people embrace traditional tobacco use, which often is not inhaled, is all natural, not addictive and has no chemical additives, the more likely they are to reject commercial tobacco products that are aggressively marketed to them by big tobacco companies, and cause cancer and other life threatening health issues.
Donate today!
Every dollar you contribute goes directly towards giving Indigenous people greater awareness of the dangers of commercial tobacco use, and educates them on the preventative measures they can take to reduce the risk of cancer.
Whether it is community outreach to raise awareness of cancer prevention, promoting early detection, deploying community health workers to help men and women overcome screening barriers, or assisting health systems in identifying barriers to effective cancer prevention and care - none of our efforts are possible without the generous support of our partners.
